Geographical Information System for sustainable water resources management in Central Asia

Land Tenure Development Center at Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration delivered training course in “Geoinformation System and Data Bases”during April 5-17, 2010. Training was aimed for the water management specialists of Central Asian countries. This training course was held in frame of “Transboundary Water Management in Central Asia” Project executed by German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and financed by German Federal Foreign Office (AA). During the two week course period, participants had an opportunity to learn the possible applications of Geographic Information Systems in water resource management field. During training course at the end of each feedback from participants were collected. According to feedbacks participants are highly satisfied.
